August Schedule of Events
| Monday, August 1 | All month long | Charity drive: Let's set aside some time this month to talk to our children about less fortunate people in our community, and get involved with helping. We will have a school supply drive on the 12th this month, and will collect donations for City Light of Boise throughout the entire month. |
| Tuesday, August 2 | ASAP | Playgroup Update: Playgroup leaders we want to make sure everyone is enjoying their playgroup and is in a playgroup if they desire. Please, update the coordinator. |
| Thursday, August 4 | 3:00–4:00pm | Imagination Stations: Bring your imaginations to come build an awesome airplane, funny fingerpuppets and other marvelous masterpieces. (RSVP for location.) |
| Thursday, August 4 | 7:00pm | Bunco Club: Fast-paced, easy-to-learn dice game. It’s great fun and a good way to meet other mothers. Cost is $6.00 to play. Come play, have fun, and win some prizes! |

| Monday, August 15 | 10:00am | Kibby's Alpaca Ranch tour: Get up close and personal with a unique animal during this tour. Learn about their behavior and how they benefit us.

| Wednesday, August 17 | 10:30am | Celebrate National Eye Care Month: In honor of National Eye Care Month, we will get to learn about our eyes and how we can help keep our eyes and vision healthy as we grow. Kids will also get to participate in a fun project to celebrate our eyes! |
| Monday, August 22 | 7:00pm | IMN board meeting: We will discuss upcoming parties, concerns, new ideas, and other topics to ensure IMN is meeting all our members' needs. Our monthly meetings are open to all members and nursing babies. Please, come along to enjoy a latte and share your questions and ideas with the board members. |
| Thursday, August 25 | 11:00am | Idaho Botanical Gardens visit |
| Tuesday, August 30 | 7:00pm | Book Club: The book for August is Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe.

Moms' Getaway—Yoga and Tea/Coffee: Come join me for an relaxing evening of yoga and friends. This will be a free class for our group. All levels welcome, no experience necessary. |
| Sunday, September 18 | Noon–4:30pm | Museum of Mining and Geology Rock Party: Activities include hands-on fossils and displays, mining, geology hikes, gold panning, a historic mining camp, placer and lode mining artifacts, rock and mineral displays, seismometer operation, a gift shop and vendors. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for children. |
| Thursday, September 22 | 9:30am | Nature hike, Camel's Back Park: We'll meet in the parking lot by the tennis courts. From there we'll take an easy hike that's only about 0.50 mile / 30 minutes round trip around Hull's Pond. |
| Tuesday, September 27 | 7:00pm | Book Club: This month we will be discussing The Solitude of Prime Numbers: A Novel by Paolo Giordano.
